An Introduction

Not that he is really "new" to Colors in Black and White Photography, but he's never really been formally introduced...
Rodney began helping me with many of my photo shoots beginning last summer. We make a pretty good team, and each of us brings something a little different to the table. I felt it was a good time to let you know a little bit about him and start showing you some of his work. He does an amazing job. I told him to give me a description and a few words. They are below, but I have a few of my personal favorites from him that I'll share another time.

From Rodney... As a "jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none kind of guy", I like to try my hand at all sorts of things. I knew I liked photography, but in the last year I have learned to love the fact that I can take what God has put on this earth and capture its beauty...whether it's taking the first smile of a newborn, capturing life moments, or creating stellar night images. I'm excited to add this to my list of "things I can do"!

Chattanooga: A weekend FULL of pictures!

We had THE best time photographing the Xtreme cheerleaders from Cullman. We're a little sad that it was the end, and it has been great to see them improve throughout the season. The Alphas won 2nd place in their division this weekend, and the Omegas won 1st AND Grand Champions! We were all so excited. I'll post some of those pics soon.

It gave us a chance to photograph some fun stuff while we were there.  Hope you enjoy. We'll be making some canvas prints of these too!

More from St. Louis-Animals and insects

Some of these are ones that we've turned into posters with cool sayings on them. Some we've turned into paint versions of them and had them matted and framed. They're just fun shots on trips of a lifetime!

More ideas for the press printed albums

So now I'm temporarily over my baby addiction and on to my new one...well, maybe not new. It's an old one, but it's rekindled! lol

I LOVE the camera, but I also love creating cool ideas with the images I've made. So here are a couple of samples of the pages that I'm putting together for one of my favorite clients! The cool thing is...when this is completed, she will have an amazing keepsake with 30 great images that will last a lifetime. Plus, it's been created JUST FOR THEM!  I may add some more at a later time, but I'll definitely post the completed book when it gets here from the printer.

Colors in Black and White Photography...Products for you! :)

We are constantly looking for ways to make you~our customers~ smile. We love coming up with unique gifts created just for you. The picture itself is my most favorite part, but I also enjoy putting them into gift ideas just for you. Here are a few things we've done recently...rounded out by a new press printed photo album I'm working on for one of our customers. Hope you enjoy, and feel free to comment or ask questions!

It's difficult to see the edge because the surrounding space is white; however, this is a 10x20 storyboard.

Below are two of the pages from the 6x6 press printed album I'm working on for a client.
